Over the past 10 years, revolutionary changes have transpired in the network marketing industry. Today, there are so many companies, so many products, so much information and so many worth while opportunities. There has been an increasing number of successful network marketers as our industry matures, however, there are still huge numbers of distributors who struggle to make network marketing work for them.
Many distributors feel overwhelmed by the details that surround the business. They have trouble understanding and managing the various tools, marketing system and compensation plans.When you add the fact that they are often following leaders who are either not as successful as they would like you to believe or are using an old outdated system that is not duplicatable, it's no wonder so many people become confused, disillusioned and drop out way too soon.
When I first started out in network marketing, they said that if you pick from the marketing tools they use and just keep at it, you couldn't help but succeed. What I didn't realize was, what works well for some does not always work for others. Since our industry has a 97% failure rate, this is not uncommon. You need to be using the marketing tools that the successful people are using. I have learned to plug into company training to learn as much as I can about my product, but to use market-tested marketing tools and training. You have to keep currant with what is effective and also use methods that are best for YOUR unique situation.If I had known what I know now, through seeking out training and marketing resources when I first started, it would have saved me a ton of headaches, time and money.
Having a good understanding of marketing options and methods of marketing is important not only for your own success in your business, but in network marketing, you have a team to help and guide too.
